Born in Fairbanks, Mike has a B.S. in Mining Engineering, an M.S. in Mineral Preparation Engineering, and an M.S. as an Engineer of Mines from the University of Alaska. He is a Professional Engineer who started his training/engineering business in 1984 and has 15 years of experience in teaching for UAA, 14 years of combined mining and construction work, 12 years as a safety officer for City Electric and many years with the Alaska Laborers Training Trust. Together Mike and Margaret offer some of the best safety training classes in Alaska.
