Scaffold User Training

Under OSHA Construction Standard CFR 29 part 1926.454 employers are required to provide scaffold user training for all employees who perform work on a scaffold to be trained to recognize the hazards associated with the type of scaffold being used and to understand the procedures to control or minimize those hazards.

The course covers the following areas:

• The nature of any electrical hazards, fall hazards and falling object hazards in the work area
• Correct procedures for dealing with electrical and other hazards and for erecting, maintaining, and disassembling the fall protection systems and falling object protection systems being used
• Proper use of scaffold, and the proper handling of materials on the scaffold
• Maximum intended load and the load carrying capacities of the scaffolds used

Class Duration: 4 to 8 hour class length.

Certificate does not expire. 

Pricing:

For Anchorage, Wasilla and the Mat-Su Valley: $500.00 and $15 per student for materials.

On the Alaskan road system:$600.00 and $15 per student for materials.

Off the Alaskan road system: $600.00 plus travel expenses and $15 per student for materials.
