Fall Protection Training
Course Overview
Under the OSHA Construction Standard CFR 29 Part 1926.503 A1, employers shall provide a Fall Protection training program for each employee that might be exposed to fall hazards. This training program is ideal for those in the mining, construction and petroleum industry. This program covers the requirements of the standard which includes:
- The nature of fall hazards
- Procedures for erecting, maintaining, and inspecting fall protection systems
- Use and operation of guardrail systems, personal fall arrest systems, safety net systems, warning line systems, safety monitoring systems, controlled access zones, and other needed protection
- Employee roles in safety monitoring systems
- Limitations on the use of mechanical equipment during the performance of roofing work or low-sloped roofs
- Correct procedures for handling and storage of equipment and materials.
This Certificate is an OSHA requirement and recommended to be renewed every 3 years.
Pricing:
Anchorage, Wasilla and MatSu Valley: $400 for 4 hour training and $600.00 per 8 hour training plus $10 per student for materials.
On the road system across Alaska: $700.00 per 8 hour day and $10 per student for materials.
Off the road system across Alaska: $700.00 plus travel expenses and $10 per student for materials and travel expenses.
